Director General of Esade Business & Law Schools, where he is also a professor in the Department of Strategy & General Management. His career has taken place on both sides of the Atlantic, and his fields of activity have encompassed academia and the public and private sectors. 

His longest collaboration outside education has been with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) where, among other managerial roles, he was IDB’s representative firstly in Chile and then in Haiti. He was also General Manager of Strategic Planning and Development Effectiveness. Previously he had prepared management reform initiatives for the EU Commission and led the Spanish Public Sector Division of a major global consulting group. 

His teaching experience and publications centre on the intersection between theory and practice in private and public management, effective leadership, change management, strategy, organisational design, and public management.
